We don't ask for or store résumés, transcripts, your school, your GPA, your phone number or your location.
Only you. Your tracker, notes and saved jobs can't be read by other users.
The one exception is the leaderboard: if you're in the top 50, your username and how many applications you have pending and rejected are shown to everyone. Turn on Hide from Leaderboard in Settings to leave it. Your email is never shown.
These companies run parts of SimplyIntern for us and handle your data only to do that:
Like most websites, these services keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to fix problems.
When you add an application to the tracker, our server visits its job link to check that the posting exists. We remember the result for the link, not who added it.
Job listings link to employers' own sites (and USAJOBS, NSF and others). When you apply, you're on their site, and their privacy policy applies.
The site keeps your sign-in, your dark mode choice and a copy of your tracker in your browser's local storage, so pages load fast. Logging out clears your tracker copy. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Go to Settings → Delete Account. It immediately deletes your account, profile, tracked applications, folders and saved jobs. Copies may stay in our providers' routine backups for a short time before they're overwritten.
Can't sign in? Email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
SimplyIntern is meant for college students and isn't directed at children under 13.
Listings are collected automatically from public sources. We check them often, but we can't promise every one is still open or accurate. Always confirm on the employer's site.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Before any big change, such as adding ads, we'll say so on the site first.
